Recently Launching Pokemon Game Faces Backlash For Not Incorporating All Pokemon In The Game
The brand new Pokémon games, Sword and Shield, have sparked outrage after it became clear that creatures are to start disappearing.
Several beloved Pokémon won’t be available in the new game, upsetting fans. The Nintendo Switch game is among the most awaited Pokémon games ever and marks the first time the series can be out there on a console rather than a handheld.
But the news meant that as well as suggesting that some types of Pokémon will not be out there to be caught and that the Pokedex will be complete, it also means that a feature that enables players to bring their old Pokémon to new games won’t be available.
That provoked outrage amongst followers who accused developers Gamefreak of being lazy in not bringing all Pokémon to the brand new game and having disappointed them months before the titles arrive in November.
“Thanks to all of our fans for caring so deeply about Pokémon,” mentioned Sword and Protect producer Junichi Masuda in an announcement revealed on the Pokemon web site. “Not too long ago, I shared the news that some Pokémon can’t be transferred to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Defend. I’ve read all of your feedback and admire your love and passion for Pokémon.
Now developers have sought to calm that anger by making clear that the disappearing Pokémon is not going to be removed forever, and that the decision had been after intense deliberation.
